How TO ORDER OR DEMO A SADDLE

Order:

Podium Saddles are custom made and offer many options to personalize your saddle. Podiums are designed to fit Arabs or horses with Arab type bodies.  We have also found they fit Tennessee Walkers and Kentucky Mountain breeds with great success.

If you have a saddle picked out, please contact us to discuss the options available and get your customized saddle on order.  If a bit unsure or are torn between two models we can  help with some of your personal information (height/weight of the horse, rider's height/weight, and your style of riding activity: trail, endurance, dressage, etc.). Saddles prices will have an additional $280 added for shipping/tax/duty costs from Italy and includes shipping to your door.

Often a few photos  will help to determine what models best fit your needs. 

Photos: We need 5 good photos of your horse standing on level ground (examples are shown in the Tack Talk section of website). One from each side, one from each front shoulder (front to back), and one from the back toward the front of horse (this should be taken from above the rump so a stool may be needed as we want to see the back and withers). 

Demo:

For those that would like to try a saddle the demo program as listed below gives you that opportunity. We have found the best option is to pick 2 saddles to demo. The shipping and processing cost stays the same so you get double bang for your buck. 

Before making your purchase we have some demo models available that you can try for fitment, comfort, and examine the high quality of these saddles. Our demo models may have a 16", 17”, or 18" seat (depends on model and what is on hand) and are shipped with leathers/stirrups (added to the price of the demo) but no girth or saddle pad is included. 

Saddle requires full payment plus $120 which covers the shipping and insurance to and from your residence in the continental USA. The 14 day trial period includes 10 full days from receipt to ride and enjoy, the last 4 days allow for return shipping so saddle is back to our office by the 14thday. We will include a UPS label for return shipment and if the saddle is late there will be a $10 per day penalty charge applied. 

A saddle pad or cloth is required to be used on ALL DEMO saddles. Saddles must be returned clean and in good condition. We realize riding can be dirty/dusty but a damp cloth works wonders. Upon return, saddle will be inspected and any repairs or cleaning costs  will incur extra charges.

Upon end of trial period you have 2 options:

1: Return the saddle and order your new custom saddle with the demo payment being applied to your new saddle, any accessories can be ordered and must be paid for at this time along with shipping/duty costs ($280). Saddle production usually takes 6-12 weeks, saddle will be shipped to your residence (continental USA) upon arrival.

2: If you decide that you do not want a saddle then return it using the furnished label. You will be refunded the demo price less a $75 processing/handling fee. All shipping charges are non-refundable. This is an economical ($195) method to test a saddle versus buying a saddle and then having to re-sell it as a used saddle.
